Women’s and Men’s Preseason Tourney Results

On November 9-10, the UC Irvine women’s teams hosted 16 teams at their 2-day preseason tournament, the Anteater Invitational.  Congratualtions to UCLA for winning the event for the 4th year in a row. 

Below are the final results: 

  • 1 – UCLA
  • 2 – Arizona St.
  • 3 – Colorado St.
  • 4 – UC Irvine
  • T5 – San Jose St., Arizona St. II, Colorado St. II, Loyola Marymount
  • 9 – USC
  • 10 – San Diego St. II
  • T11 – Fullerton St., Channel Islands
  • T13 – Nevada-Reno II, USC II, Fullerton St. II, UC Irvine II

On the same weekend, the UC Davis women’s teams hosted 7 teams at their 1-day preseason friendship tournament.  The results of that event are:

  • 1 – UC Davis
  • 2 – UC Davis II
  • 3 – Sonoma St.
  • 4 – San Jose St. II
  • 5 – St. Mary’s
  • 6 – Sacramento St.
  • 7 – U. Pacific 

Also on the same weekend, the San Diego St. men’s team hosted teams at their 2-day preseason tournament.  The results of that event are:

  • 1 – UC Irvine
  • 2 – San Diego St. Alumni
  • 3 – U. Arizona
  • 4 – Grossmont Community College
  • 5 – Cal Poly II
  • 6 – USC
  • 7 – Airforce
  • 8 – Sacramento St.
  • 9 – San Diego st.
  • 10 – UCSD
  • 11 – Cal Poly
  • 12 – Long Beach
  • 13 – N. Arizona
  • 14 – Arizona St.
  • 15 – UCLA
  • 16 – Arizona St. II
  • 17 – U. Arizona II
  • 18 – Fullerton
  • 19 – U. San Diego
  • 20 – UC Riverside
  • 21 – San Diego St. II
  • 22 – USC II
