Play Volleyball in College
The California Collegiate Volleyball Conference’s goal is to provide club volleyball playing opportunities at colleges in California.
Many college club players are former NCAA and NAIA players who, for whatever reason, decided that playing club volleyball was the best way for them to continue to play. After all, varsity athletics is not for everyone. Other college club players consist of varsity caliber players and junior college transfers who choose a college based on their educational needs and the college experience they will receive rather than the varsity sports program. The final group of college club players are those who do not have a lot of previous volleyball experience at the junior club and high school levels, but wish to improve and play in college.
Due to this wide range of skill level, the leagues are divided into divisions in order to provide playing opportunities tailored toward various skill levels for those who wish to participate.
By contacting us at ccvc@ccvcvolleyball.org you can let collegiate club coaches and teams know you are interested in joining a collegiate club volleyball team. Take a look at the Who We Are section, and see if the college you are attending has a club volleyball team. If not, we can assist you in forming a team.
