League play is well-underway in Southern California.  The men and women competed in their respective regional events, and the women finished their league crossover.   A lot of exciting results in the south.  Check out the website for the league in Southern California for details and results.

The NCCVL women are competing in their league crossover this weekend at University of the Pacific.

February 1 Men’s California Rankings

Long Beach enters the February 1 rankings after a strong showing at Southern California’s North Regional at UCSB.  UCSD remains at the top spot by defeating Long Beach at the regional event.

January 30 Women’s California Rankings

The new January 30 Women’s D1 and D2 California rankings are posted.  Lots of changes from the preseason rankings due to all the great inter-league play between the NCCVL and Southern California at the MLK Battle of the Bay Tournament and the regional event in Southern California. UC Davis tops our D1 poll after beating UCSB (finals), Cal Poly (semi-finals), and San Diego St. (quarter-finals) at the MLK Battle of the Bay Tournament.  UCLA drops to number 5 after losing to UCSB at the regional in S0-Cal. Cal Poly II remains at the top of the D2 rankings after winning the Silver championship at the MLK Battle of the Bay Tournament.  Azusa Pacific enters the poll at number 2 by beating UCSB II at the So-Cal regional and by going undefeated in that event.
