League Champions

  • Nor-Cal: Chico St. defeated UC Davis in 3 sets to win the NCCVL-W Division 1 championship.  This is Chico St.’s second league championship.  The team last won in 2002.  SFSU defeated SJSU in 5 sets to win its first NCCVL-W Division 2 championship.
  • So-Cal: San Diego St. defeated UCSD to win its first So-Cal Division 1 championship.  Point Loma defeated UCLA II to win the So-Cal Division 2 championship.  This is Point Loma’s second league championship.  The team last won in 2015.
  • Congrats to all teams!

NCCVL-W League Championships – Finalized

The teams playing for the NCCVL women’s title have been announced.  The teams face-off this weekend at Cal Poly.  Matches are best 3 out of 5 sets.
  • Division 1
    • 1. Cal Poly v. winner of 4. Stanford v. 5. Chico St.
    • 2. UC Davis v. 3. UC Berkeley
  • Division 2
    • 1S. Cal Poly II v. winner of 2N St. Mary’s v. 3S Fresno St.
    • 1N. Sac St. v. winner of 2S SFSU v. 3N UC Davis II

So-Cal Champs

Congrats to the UCLA women (D1), Point Loma women (D2), Arizona St. men (D1), and Claremont men (D2) for winning the Southern California league titles!  

NCCVL-W League Championships

The NCCVL-W league championships for D1 and D2 will be on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Cal Poly.  All matches are best of 5.   At the conclusion of each match, league awards will be presented.  In Division 1, currently four teams have qualified: UC Davis, Cal Poly, Cal and Stanford.  Chico and Santa Clara are the two possible teams that can qualify for the last spot, depending on the outcome of Santa Clara’s match this weekend.  In Division 2, currently five teams have qualified: Cal Poly II, Sac St., UC Davis II, St. Mary’s, and SFSU.  U. San Francisco and Fresno St. are the two possible teams that can qualify for the last spot, depending on the outcome of their matches this weekend.
