NCCVL-W D2 Champions

Cal Poly II defeated SFSU in the NCCVL-W D2 championship match.  Congrats to Cal Poly II for winning the NCCVL women’s D2 championship!  Cal Poly II has consecutively won the D2 championship the last four years.

League Play

League play is well-underway in Southern California.  The men and women competed in their respective regional events, and the women finished their league crossover.   A lot of exciting results in the south.  Check out the website for the league in Southern California for details and results.

The NCCVL women are competing in their league crossover this weekend at University of the Pacific.   

2014 Women’s Events and Tournaments

To help plan for the upcoming season, here are the 2014 women’s events and tournaments: Preseason (October – December)
  • November 2, 2013 – San Jose St. Friendship Tournament
  • November 9, 2013 – UC Davis Friendship Tournament
  • November 9-10, 2013 – UC Irvine Anteater Invitational
  • November 17, 2013 – Cal Classic at UC Berkeley
  • November 23-24, 2013 – San Diego St. Tournament
  • December 5 – UC Riverside Highlander Tournament
Regular Season (January – April)
  • January 18-19, 2014 – MLK Battle of the Bay at San Jose St.
  • February 8-9, 2014 – NCCVL-W Cross-Over Tournament
  • February 22-23, 2014 – Far Westerns at UC Davis
  • March 9-10, 2014 – NCCVL League Championships
  • March 15-16, 2014 – State Championships (Cal Cup)
  • April 3-5, 2014 – Nationals in Reno, NV
  • Note: the NCCVL and Southern California will have league events during other weekends

The league championship matches have been finalized for the NCCVL Men and NCCVL Women.  All matches are at Stanford in Ford/Burnham on March 9-10. 

Men’s Division 1: UC Berkeley (1 North), Sacramento St. (2 North), UC Davis (3 North), Santa Clara (1 South), Cal Poly (2 South), Fresno St. (3 South)

Men’s Division 2: Cal Poly II (1 South), San Francisco St. (1 North), UC Berkeley II (2 South), Humboldt St. (2 North), UC Merced (3 South), UC Davis II (3 North), Nevada-Reno (4 North), San Francisco CC (5 North)

Women’s Division 1: (1) Cal Poly, (2) UC Davis, (3) Sonoma St., (4) Santa Clara, (5) Stanford, (6) San Jose St.
